Day One on Book 3

I don’t really have a title yet for Book 3. It usually takes me some time writing before the book starts to take shape and fit a title. Today I jumped in and wrote 1,239 words. And by jumped in I mean that I just sat down and started somewhere. Probably the opening chapter. But who knows yet???

I’m trying to set a scene for the reader that gets them engaged in trying to figure out what the book might be about. I don’t want to introduce too many characters right away. No sense confusing things right off the bat. So I have two characters in one location. I’ve tried to describe the setting but not in too much detail. It’s way early for that.

Now time to jot down some ideas about one of my new characters before I forget.
