Sophie just wants to continue running the quilt shop she inherited from her grandmother and live in the lighthouse her family has cared for forever. Her plans don’t include helping find her best friend’s missing husband or finding herself intrigued by the temporary police chief who refuses to investigate. But when the missing husband washes ashore, unconscious, at Sophie’s lighthouse—with bullet holes—plans have to change. After all, that’s what best friend’s are for—especially when her quilt shop seems to be the next target for someone’s hatred.
A Stitch in Time Reviews
If you’re a quilter or not, you’ll love the storyline. Janell did a fantastic job of weaving together a mystery that evolves in a small town in Wisconsin. She really develops each character and keeps you interested until the last page.

I’m over a week late in commenting on your book. It came July 19 and I read it in 4 days and loved it. An easy read, but very good story! I really liked Ben and Sophie. and loved all the quilting.
