Lost file??????

So a bright and sunny morning in Clearwater FL and I am about to sit down and do my morning writing at 9 am.

Lo and behold…..file cannot be found. Check backup folder and restore…Nothing in backup folder though the file was created on March 9th and I ALWAYS close my files when done writing for the day which should trigger an automatic backup and SAVE my file to a specific location on my disc.

Both Jerry and I are beyond frustrated with my writing program. When Scrivener works it is great. I have now used it for two books and, although I have had formatting issues, I like the organization of it. But I have never run into this problem. I checked the manual and YouTube. No help in sight.

Right now the laptop is being charged and we are contemplating a restore of Scrivener. Or, at least, Jerry is contemplating a restore. I am drinking coffee and trying to stay calm.
