Woke up with paragraphs already written!

So I rushed to my laptop at 7 a.m. this morning with several paragraphs already written in my mind. Opened it up and discovered it was in the middle of an update! Black screen that meant I had to keep those paragraphs swirling around in my head until the update was finished. Yes, I could have gone directly to my IPad and written them down but I hadn’t had coffee yet so didn’t think of that.

About 20 minutes later I opened a new chapter in Scrivener, the writing program I use, and got the words down quickly. Saved them….success! And now time for coffee. Should be a good writing day with this start.

Chapters aren’t in synch yet. Right now it’s just important to get down ideas ands paragraphs full of descriptions and bits of conversation. I have a list of characters-some old, some new. I have a brief outline of what’s going to happen but it’s all fluid and will be for a while.
